Stephanie Orr

Instructor | Beginner to Intermediate Piano

Stephanie Orr, a native of Calgary, began her piano studies at the age of six in a small farmhouse located just a short distance from the rural property where she was raised.

In 2012, she earned an Associate Diploma in Piano Performance from the London College of Music, graduating with First Class Honours. She also completed the Intermediate Pedagogy Certificate toward the Associate Diploma in Pedagogy through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, where she was honored with the Regional Gold Medal.

In 2018, Stephanie received a Licentiate Diploma in Piano Duet with Distinction from the London College of Music, in collaboration with her friend and colleague, Lisa Kiernan. The two have performed together in concerts, festivals, and private events in Calgary, earning widespread acclaim. Stephanie has developed a deep passion for teaching duet repertoire, as it presents a unique challenge for students and fosters strong connections within her studio.

Having begun her teaching career at the age of seventeen, Stephanie now brings over twenty years of experience to her work. She has relocated her private studio, Mountain View Music Studio, from North Calgary back to the countryside. Serving families in rural Rockyview County, North Calgary, and Airdrie, her mission is to inspire every student to become a lifelong learner through the joy of playing the piano.
